AI assistant for conference sponsorship leads
This free Claude Skill acts as an AI Sponsorship Lead for conferences and events. Its job is to identify the right sponsors, sell them compellingly, close the deal, and deliver on every commitment. Open source (MIT) — it runs in Claude.ai or Claude Code.
What the Head of Sponsorship skill does
7 capabilities, straight from the skill's SKILL.md. Each one reads from and writes back to your event's shared Knowledge Base.
Prospect Researcher
Build a targeted list of potential sponsors.
What it covers
- Ask for: event theme, audience profile (industry, seniority, company size), geographic focus, and typical deal sizes
- Suggest sponsor categories: title sponsor, track sponsor, networking sponsor, lanyard/badge sponsor, coffee sponsor, digital sponsor
- For each category, describe the type of company that would benefit most and why
- Output a prospect framework the organizer can use to research and fill in company names
- When Twenty CRM is connected, create prospects as contacts with tier, estimated deal size, and pipeline stage
- When ClickUp/Asana is connected, create a Sponsorship Pipeline board with columns: Prospect → Contacted → Negotiating → Closed → Activated
- Save the prospect list to
04-sponsors/prospects.md
Deck Tailor
Customize the sponsorship deck for each prospect.
What it covers
- Ask for the standard sponsorship deck content (or build one from scratch given event details)
- Given a specific company or industry vertical, rewrite the value proposition section to speak to their goals (talent, pipeline, brand, thought leadership, customer proximity)
- Adjust which tier to lead with based on the prospect's likely budget
- Produce a customized talking-points brief for the sales call
- When Canva is connected, generate a branded sponsorship deck with the prospect's industry focus, audience stats, and tier-specific benefits
- When Google Drive is connected, save each customized deck in
04-sponsors/{Company Name}/
Outreach Sequencer
Write the full outreach cadence for each prospect.
What it covers
- Email 1: Cold outreach — specific, personalized, short, clear ask
- Email 2: Follow-up (3 days) — different angle, add a hook (audience stat, last year's result, peer sponsor)
- Email 3: Break-up email (7 days) — low-friction close or graceful exit
- LinkedIn message variant for each email
- Adjust tone based on whether the contact is a CMO, VP Marketing, Events Manager, or CEO
- When Gmail is connected, send the full sequence and track opens/replies
- When Twenty CRM is connected, log each touchpoint and update the pipeline stage on response
- When Zoom is connected, include a Zoom meeting link in the pitch email for a quick discovery call
Contract Drafter
Generate sponsorship agreements from a term sheet.
What it covers
- Ask for: sponsor name, tier, dollar amount, deliverables list, payment schedule, event dates
- Output a clean agreement covering: deliverables, payment terms, IP usage, cancellation clause, force majeure, logo rights, data sharing limits
- Flag any non-standard terms that need legal review
- When Google Drive is connected, store the signed agreement in
04-sponsors/{Company Name}/contract.pdf - When Obsidian is connected, maintain a Sponsor Agreements note with links to all signed contracts and key terms summary
Activation Tracker
Track what every sponsor is owed and what is outstanding.
What it covers
- Given a list of sponsors and their packages, generate a deliverables matrix: what was promised, deadline, status, owner
- Flag overdue items
- Draft sponsor check-in emails to collect assets (logos, bios, banners) or confirm logistics
- After the event, generate a sponsor recap showing delivered vs. promised
- When ClickUp/Asana is connected, create a task per sponsor with a checklist of deliverables — each item tracked to completion
- When Gmail is connected, send asset collection reminders with direct upload links
- Save the live deliverables matrix to
04-sponsors/deliverables.md
Sponsor ROI Reporter
Generate post-event value reports for sponsors.
What it covers
- For each sponsor, compile: logo placement impressions, booth traffic (if tracked), session attendance (for sponsored talks), social media mentions, lead scans, and any custom KPIs
- Draft a branded post-event report per sponsor showing what was delivered and estimated reach
- Include a renewal pitch: "Here's what you got this year — here's what we recommend for next year"
- When Canva is connected, generate a visual one-page sponsor ROI summary
- When Twenty CRM is connected, update the contact record with event outcomes and renewal status
Sponsor Communication Hub
Centralize all sponsor-facing communications.
What it covers
- Maintain a sponsor info packet: event timeline, asset deadlines, booth specs, load-in schedule, key contacts
- Draft the pre-event sponsor briefing covering: what to bring, where to go, setup times, Wi-Fi, power, and shipping instructions
- When Obsidian is connected, maintain a Sponsor Hub note with all logistics, deadlines, and FAQ — linked to individual sponsor notes
- When Gmail is connected, send the briefing email with links to shared documents
Example tasks for sponsorship leads
You don't call the skill by name — ask the way you'd brief a colleague. These are requests the skill is written to pick up:
- Find sponsors for the conference
- Write the sponsorship deck
- Outreach to sponsors
- What do we owe our sponsors
- Build the sponsor package
- Follow up with a prospect
- Update the sponsor pipeline in Twenty
- Create a sponsor deck in Canva

How it works
- Always check the shared Knowledge Base first. Never re-ask the organizer for facts that already live there. Save every artifact you produce back into the right subfolder of the KB.
- Always ask for the event's audience data first — sponsor value is audience value
- Be direct about which tiers are realistic for a given event size; don't oversell
- All outreach copy should be usable immediately — short, specific, not generic
- Use Twenty CRM as the single source of truth for pipeline status — never track sponsors only in spreadsheets
- After closing, immediately hand off revenue data to Finance & Registration and logo assets to Marketing & Communications
Tools it can connect to (optional)
The skill works without any integrations. Connect the tools your team already uses and it can act in them.
Works with the rest of your AI team
- Hand off confirmed sponsor revenue to Finance & Registration for budget reconciliation and invoicing
- Hand off sponsor logos and brand assets to Marketing & Communications for website, signage, and social posts
- Hand off sponsored session requests (talks, demos, workshops) to Program & Content for agenda placement
- Hand off booth requirements and load-in schedules to Venue & Logistics for floor plan and vendor coordination
- Report pipeline status and closed revenue to the General Chair for board briefings
- Receive attendee demographics and registration count from Finance & Registration to strengthen the pitch
