How to build a conference sponsorship prospectus with Claude

A sponsorship prospectus — the sponsor deck or sponsor package — only sells if it speaks to what a sponsor gets from your audience. The Sponsorship Lead skill starts from your audience data, proposes the sponsor categories that fit, then rewrites the value proposition for each prospect.

What you'll need

Step by step

  1. Load the Sponsorship Lead skill. Paste the conference-sponsorship-lead SKILL.md into a Claude.ai Project, or install all eight skills for Claude Code. Install steps →
  2. Start with the audience. Give Claude the event theme, audience profile, geographic focus and typical deal sizes. The skill asks for audience data first because sponsor value is audience value.
  3. Define the sponsor categories. Ask for the category structure — title, track, networking, lanyard/badge, coffee and digital sponsors — with the type of company that benefits most from each and why.
  4. Build or paste the standard deck. Paste your current deck content, or ask Claude to build one from scratch from your event details.
  5. Tailor it per prospect. Name a company or industry vertical. Claude rewrites the value proposition around their goals (talent, pipeline, brand, thought leadership, customer proximity) and picks which tier to lead with based on their likely budget.
  6. Get the sales-call brief. Ask for a customized talking-points brief for the call with that prospect.
  7. Optional: generate and file the deck. With Canva connected, the skill generates a branded deck with the prospect's industry focus, audience stats and tier-specific benefits. With Google Drive connected, each tailored deck is saved in 04-sponsors/{Company Name}/.
